At approximately 1800 hours, Garner EMS83 was dispatched to a MVC on I40 near Jones Sausage Road.  En route, information was updated to report a vehicle vs. a tractor trailer truck and the truck was reported on top of the car.  With this information, additional resources were requested.

Garner Chief 800 was the first to arrive and established command.  It was determined that a tractor trailer rear ended a Honda vehicle and then jack-knifed.  Remarkably, there was only one minor injury.  The additional resources were canceled and EMS81 handled the transport to WakeMed Hospital.

Units on scene included Garner EMS Chief 800, Chief 801, EMS81 and Garner Fire Engine 1.
